He Sang She Sang Plays Smith's Olde Bar, Atlanta GA

Dynamic acoustic rock duo, He Sang She Sang, will be performing at an artist’s showcase at Smith’s Olde Bar on September 10, 2012, Monday, 8 PM.  Sponsored by the Miller Lite Concert Series, they are the second act of the night, and will be performing their compelling original songs and a few of their most popular covers.

He Sang She Sang is known for their exciting instrumental and vocal arrangements and creative reinventions of classic/contemporary rock tunes. They gave Rod Stewart’s naughty 70’s hit, “Hot Legs”, a playful Sesame Street vibe with the use of xylophone and cat impressions. They arranged Radiohead’s intense song, “Just”, for piano, guitar, and xylophone, but they’ve taken on other instrumental melodic lines with their voices.  He Sang She Sang believes in doing covers with justice, if this means utilizing every limb they have to play an instrument (Alma wears tambourines around her ankle). When they run out of limbs, they use their voices.

Bronne on guitar; Alma on keyboard, xylophone, and percussion. Both on vocals.
