Meet the Holidays: Eid ul-Fitr
Learn about the Islamic holiday Eid ul-Fitr from Jelena Naim of the Islamic Speakers Bureau. Visitors will hear an engaging story of a young child and the Ramadan tradition of fasting. In celebration of the holiday, children can create beautiful symbols that represent joyous blessings.
August 11: 1pm
August 12 at 2pm craft time; 3pm story time.
Children will have the opportunity to try their hand at the intricate, traditional art of henna and then listen to the story Ramadhan and Eid ul-Fitr by eight-year-old Azra Jesse.
