Local Booksigning- DARE: Straight Talk on Confidence, Courage, and Career for Women

Hello fellow Midtown Patch readers and Book Club members, today we are sharing photos from the celebration of Becky Blalock’s book, DARE: Straight Talk on Confidence, Courage, and Career for Women in Charge, which was recently released. This signing occurred at the Piedmont Driving Club on October 3rd. 

In the book, Becky Blalock empowers women to succeed with practical strategies that build relationships, promote potential, and ultimately create the opportunities on which great careers are founded, nurtured, and grown.

About Becky Blalock

Becky Blalock is a seasoned executive who has thirty plus years of experience in the corporate world. She is presently a partner with Advisory Capital providing consulting to companies in information technology, energy, healthcare and leadership development. Prior to this role she served for nine years as the Sr. VP and Chief Information Officer for Southern Company.

In the book Becky discusses her perspective on what she believes are the most important things women must do if they want to rise to the C-suite. They must believe in themselves, be brave and take risks.
