Sneak Preview: Art on the BeltLine Exhibit
Art on the BeltLine 2012 kicks off Saturday, Sept. 8. Patch tagged along on a preview of the artworks on the Westside trial so we could offer you this slideshow. Scroll below the slideshow to read more about this event.
Organizers call Art on the BeltLine the largest temporary public art exhibit in Atlanta.
The event runs Sept. 8 through November and includes concerts and dance performances, in addition to the opportunity to stroll along stretches of the BeltLine to see paintings, murals and other art on display.
Artworks will be on display along the Westside trail, stretching from Washington Park to Adair Park in southwest Atlanta, and along the Eastside trail from the Ansley Mall area through Piedmont Park, the Historic Fourth Ward Park and into Inman Park.
