Candidates Qualify for Atlanta's Municipal Election

Atlanta’s municipal election season is underway in earnest as a full week’s worth of qualifying came to a conclusion on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013. Mayor Kasim Reed is facing a trio of challengers while a dozen of the 16 men and women who sit on the city council also face opposition. Here’s a look at who will be on the ballot in November for the City of Atlanta.
