Two New Fitness Finds

I have a couple of cool new things (well, new to me at least!) to share this week.  I was thrilled to get a little special package in the mail from The Running Buddy.  Have you heard of The Running Buddy?  If you live in Georgia you may not have.  In fact, there is no store that I could find that sells this wonderful little device.  When I saw this cool product online I wanted to check it out.  I couldn't believe that I couldn't find it in my home state.  I reached out to the company and they responded immediately.  How cool is that? I am here to tell you, if you are a runner, cycler, walker, dog walker, amusement park visitor or a participant in any activity where you want to go "light" you will want The Running Buddy!

Don't take this post lightly.  I do not endorse products easily.  I have to really like them and think they add to my lifestyle.  So. . . . just so you know.  I think The Running Buddy has already made me happy!  Here is how the website describes it:

The revolutionary Running Buddy™ is a lightweight, belt-free running pouch with a water-resistant inner pocket.  Made with dri-fit material, the Running Buddy keeps all your running essentials sweat-free and dry. Strong magnets keep the Running Buddy in one place, no matter how intense of a pace you're setting!  The Running Buddy is made to fit inhalers, EpiPens and most of the popular phones, including the iPhone 5™ and Samsung Galaxy S V™.  Patent Pending
The price point is from $22 - $25.

When they say "strong magnets" they are not exaggerating!  The flaps click together and stay so snugly together you don't really notice them.  I have attached it onto the waistband of a running skirt and running shorts to walk, walk and run and take my dogs for a walk.  The pockets allow for an IPhone and keys or whatever you might need and the velcro attaches the pockets hold really firm.  The magnets snap so snugly that there is no wiggling or distracting moving when you are moving.
And, let's be honest, it looks much better than a fanny pack!!

The next thing I discovered this week is a cool little boutique gym right by my house.  I'd passed by CRE8FIT going to the nearest grocery store and kept thinking I should visit.  I even got a schedule, but just never signed up for a class.  However, this week I walked by and peered into the window and noticed the RealRyder bikes lined up waiting for riders.  I recently got a RealRyder cycling certification and wrote about it.  However, I only knew of one place to use them, so I was a little bummed.  Until now.  This morning I ventured into CRE8FIT and met with the owner, Corey.  She is the great, spunky owner and instructor at CRE8FIT.  When talking to her I learned that she had practiced law for 15 years and gave it up for her passion.  Since that's also my background I liked her immediately!

The space is bright, modern and has all of the best "toys" with classes ranging from RealRyder cycling, yoga, HIIT, kettle bells, Barre and CrossCore.  The Cross Core is a bit similar to TRX, but on a pulley so it moves even more to engage  more muscles.  That's my next class!

These are two new discoveries this week.  Let me know if you are interested in either or both!  I'm already a big fan of both of these!

What have you discovered lately?  How do you hold your keys, phone, etc when you walk or take your dogs out?  Don't you think The Running Buddy is an awesome concept?  Are you a fan of the big gyms or the new, smaller boutiques that are popular?  What is out there that you wish you had invented??

Hope you are having a FUN day!- See more at: http://www.marla-deen-fit.net/#sthash.8KtBYEjK.dpuf
