Zocalo Makes Drinking for a Cause Easy - Try its Pink Ribbon Agua Fresca

Zocalo in Midtown has partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation to offer a special Breast Cancer Awareness drink at a great price that encourages everyone to Drink Pink!

Throughout the month of October, Zocalo (and all Richard Sandoval Restaurants throughout the U.S.) will offer a special Pink Ribbon Agua Fresca for $3 and donate $1 for each drink sold to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

According to reports, this beverage is one of chef Richard Sandoval’s favorites since it was served at his grandmother’s dining room table. It’s a drink that not only honors one of the most important women in his life, but it also pays homage to his Mexican roots. Made with fresh watermelon and sweetened with honey, this non-alcoholic drink is refreshing and filled with antioxidants.
