77 12th Street Project Nearly Complete, Restaurants and Retail Move In

Have you noticed the activity around 77 12th Street lately?  More and more construction trucks have gone away, and more and more residents can be seen coming and going from the newest Midtown luxury hi-rise to open.

Construction crews continue to build-out the street-level retail spaces which will soon hold a few highly anticipated restaurants and businesses in the building.

Taco Diner, seems like it will be the anchor business, going into the huge corner space that faces Crescent and 12th Street.  According to their marketing, they offer, "traditional comfort and street food from Mexico City."

Next to Taco Diner will be Fig Jam Kitchen & Bar, which has a "creative cuisine and unique food offerings."

There is one other restaurant that is already in the works of building its kitchen and seating at 77 12th street, and that is Tabla which offers "contemporary indian cuisine."  Tabla looks to be the furthest ahead in its building and can bee expected to open before the others.

The one location that is already open is Raw Denim Boutique, which is known for it stylish designer jeans, tees and clothing for both men and women.  Though they ARE currently open now, a sign on their door says that the Grand Opening will be on September 17th.  They will have an opening party at 6 p.m.

What do you think of the new retail and restaurants in the neighborhood?  Are you excited to have some new variety along Crescent?
