In the spirit of fair and honest reporting, according to the Health Department website, it appears that Apres Diem actually scored a 90 on its most recent inspection.

Thanks, Beth. Apres Diem indeed had a follow-up inspection that was performed yesterday, 9/27/12, after this article was written. A closer look show Apres Diem's last five inspection scores as: 9/27/12 - 90 9/17/12 - 76 3/16/12 - 89 4/29/11 - 84 4/20/11 - 64

Follow up scores should always be 100. They know what deficiencies that they have and they have been given time to correct them.

Tammy is correct. Followup scores should be 100. When the inspector returns they ONLY review the violations from the previous visit.

It's very hard to get a perfect score with these clowns finding something wrong everywhere. Besides who cares about these stupid scores every week, people will eat there unless its a total dump. Find something real to report - Arpe Diem isn't that great anyway ha ha

I like to know where I'm likely to get food poisioning and where I won't.

Tammy - you can lose quite a number of points simply for the dumpster door not being slid shut by another business or a vagrant. So yes, know before you go, but also know before you complain.

I disagree with this report if you read the actual report they had a violation of the most serious offense #6 which means an employee or evidence of it was smoking in the kitchen, eating in the kitchen and touching raw food without washing thier hands.
John Henderson September 28, 2012 at 08:53 PM
#6 employee smoking and /or eating in the kitchen withou following proper hand washing procedures ..... It was the MAJOR red line violation .... no dumpster doors involved.
