Chipotle Excited to Debut New Menu Items at Taste of Atlanta this Weekend

The Taste of Atlanta festival will be held on Oct. 26 and 27 this year in Midtown Atlanta, and we are sure chefs are busy making up new recipes to share with the thousands of festival-goers.  In particular, Midtown Patch learned that Chipotle is taking the opportunity to roll out a new menu item that they say everyone will love.

"We will offer Atlantans something entirely new – sofritas, a shredded organic tofu, braised with roasted vegetables, tomatoes and spices," says a Chipotle representative.

Currently only available on the west coast, the company says that the latest menu item is, "yet another example of Chipotle’s dedication to Food With Integrity."

The Taste of Atlanta event will be the first opportunity for area fans to try the new menu plus the Chipotle team will also be giving away buy-one/get-one cards while supplies last.

Sofritas is shredded organic tofu, braised with roasted vegetables, tomatoes, and spices.
