Chopped Battle at the Georgian Terrace

Chef Zeb Stevenson of Livingston Restaurant + Bar and Proof & Provision, both located at the Georgian Terrace, and Atlanta chef Suzanne Vizethann of The Hungry Peach and soon-to-open Buttermilk Restaurant, will judge a culinary competition on Tuesday, Aug. 7 in advance of their own battles being aired on TV. 

The fun will take place at Proof & Provision and chef Duane Nutter of One Flew South will join as the host and MC. Come out to see the chef's episodes air while getting a live taste of what it is to be chopped!

Both Stevenson and Vizethann have competed on Food Network’s ultimate cooking challenge “Chopped,” the rapid-fire contest where chefs are provided a mystery basket of ingredients and under extreme time constraint must showcase their skills by preparing a three-course menu for expert judges. 

Vizethann won her episode which aired on July 19, 2011 and Stevenson’s episode will air on Tuesday evening.

Emily Meyers founder of Emily G’s, an award winning specialty food business, as well as noted food writer and Discovery Channel podcast producer Sarah Gleim will also serve as judges of a battle of wits and knives between chef Andy Thoms, of Fig Jam and chef Andy Gonzales, of Steinbeck’s

The chef competition starts at 7 p.m., followed by the airing of the  “Chopped" episode featuring Vizethann at 9 p.m. and the “Chopped" episode featuring Stevenson at 10 p.m.

Rooftop LIVE: Live Acoustic Tunes and Brews
