Creative Loafing to Relocate to Atlantic Station

Alternative weekly newspaper to move to 18th Street.

Creative Loafing announced today that it will relocate to Atlantic Station.

The newspaper's publisher, Sharry Smith, shared the news Wednesday, according to a report from staff writer Thomas Wheatley. The publication currently is housed near Georgia Tech in the Northyards Business Park.

The staff will move to a 11,600-square-foot space off 18th Street, in the same building with Z Gallerie. The Creative Loafing logo will be visible from the Connector.

"The upstairs office will also include a small-scale events space overlooking the commons that could host forums, exhibits and parties," Wheatley wrote in his report. "Plans for the ground-level 1,000-square-foot lobby include partnering with Atlanta galleries to display works by local artists."
