Deals of the Week: Zocalo, Bodies Exhibit and More
Save money with these local deals around Midtown.
As if there weren't enough reasons to frequent the great businesses below, for a limited time you can patronize at a fraction of the everyday cost. Hurry though, some of these deals expire tomorrow!
As far as I'm concerned, any Mexican restaurant that makes guacamole in a molcajete is an automatic favorite, and Zocalo makes it better than most. Their entire menu is delicious and features handy combos as well. Hurry over to 10th and Piedmont for an authentic meal in this open-air fixture.

If it's time for a new pair of specs or if you want to upgrade from those Dollar Tree sunglasses (my personal favorites), drop into the Eyedeology optique and get fitted for the cool frames you've been pining over by these stylish eye experts.

Kids' Workshop at The Home Depot – Free
The first Saturday of each month, The Home Depot offers free kids' workshops, where handy boys and girls make useful and educational objects. Up next, on July 2, kids can make a coaster set. On August 6, a pencil box is the project. The workshops are from 9 a.m. to noon. Attendees leave with their project, an orange apron and an achievement pin. Visit the Midtown store at 650 Ponce De Leon or the location near you.
Bodies…The Exhibition – 50% Off
This amazing collection of more than 250 real bodies, preserved using a process called polymer preservation, gets under your skin like nothing you've ever seen before. See it at the Premier Exhibition Center at Atlantic Station.
If you like sushi, then you may well have already visited Zuma — repeatedly. Maybe even in a serial, I-can-stop-if-I-want-to kind of way. The nice part of it is that there are two locations to get your fix from (Old Fourth Ward and Toco Hills), and both of them honor this sweet coupon. Don't forget the Yummi Yummi rolls.
