Nikolaustag Holiday Celebration

Der Biergarten brings back its popular holiday festivities
this year with “Lights in the Luckie Marietta District,” ringing in the yuletide season with over-the-top seasonal décor and the annual Nikolaustag Holiday Celebration.

Starting in November, Atlanta’s only authentic German restaurant and beer garden will transform into a sensational holiday wonderland, dripping with miles of garland and lights, nearly 10,000 ornaments, 72 nutcrackers and 26 Christmas trees.  Whether treating the family to a festive evening out or creating the ultimate date night, Der Biergarten is the perfect destination for celebrating the season with a unique and memorable holiday experience.

On Thursday, December 8, Der Biergarten will host its second Nikolaustag Holiday Celebration – open to the publiccomplete with adult festivities, music, food and beer specials.  Santa Claus will make a special appearance for grown-up reindeer games like beer pong on the patio, hide the pickle - a German tradition where a pickle ornament is hidden on the tree for prizes - and more!  Guests can enjoy $5 liters of draft beer, complimentary appetizers and a DJ from 5 – 7:30 p.m.  Stein Club members will receive 50 percent off their individual tab for the night.
