Irish Pub Chain Will Expand to Midtown
Midtown's Fadó Irish Pub will join its sister pub in Buckhead as the top St. Patrick's Day celebration destinations in Atlanta.
Fadó Irish Pub is eyeing a new Midtown location to join an already-existing Buckhead venue, The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
The pub will occupy the ground floor of the Metropolis building on Peachtree and 8th streets, in the space formerly called home by La Tagliatella.
Founding Partner Kieran McGill said in a statement that the Metropolis location was the ideal location for Fadó's Midtown pub, and added that Fadó's diverse offerings of quality food and drink should appeal to visitors and residents alike.
The new pub will be Fadó's second in the Atlanta area; Patch readers voted Fadó's St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Buckhead to be the best in town back in 2012.
Fadó, which is the Gaelic term for "once upon a time," should be serving drinks in Metropolis by the first quarter of 2015.
