Law Firm Extends Lease at Atlantic Station

Arnall Golden Gregory decides to stay another 10 years on 17th Street.

A sizable Atlanta law firm plans to stay put in Atlantic Station.

Arnall Golden Gregory recently renewed its lease in the mixed-use development for another 10 years, according to a release. The firm's lease was set to expire in 2014 but now will run through 2024, according to commercial real estate site Citybizlist.

Arnall Golden, a firm that provides legal counsel to businesses, currently occupies five floors at 171 17th Street, according to the AJC. The 21-story office building that also houses Wells Fargo was the first tower to be built in Atlantic Station.

"Arnall Golden Gregory is one of the original anchor tenants at 171 17th Street, and the building ownership is quite pleased the firm extended its commitment to the tower," Mike Shelly, executive vice president for commerical real estate firm Carter, said Friday in a statement.

Carter and another firm, Jones Lang LaSalle, negotiated the lease.
