Lime Fresh Mexican Grill Closes in Midtown

Florida-based fast-casual Mexican concept lasted less than 14 months in space that was previous home to The Bake Shop.

The restaurant changeover at the corner of Peachtree and 8th streets continues as Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has shuttered its doors less than 14 months after opening in the space that formally occupied The Bake Shop at 903 Peachtree.

A sign posted on the door announced the closing of the Florida-based fast-casual Mexican concept that opened for business in late March 2012. According to some on Twitter Monday, the sudden closing caught employees by surprise.

It marks the second closure for a Lime Fresh in the metro area after the Peachtree Hills location closed in January.
