Readers' Choice: Twelve is Midtown's best florist

Midtown business "takes pride in its ability to execute artistic, modern, one-of-a-kind designs tailored to each client's specific needs."

Flower lovers in Midtown have spoken and Twelve was the going away winner in our Readers' Choice poll this week as the top florist according to Midtown Patch readers.

The 16-year-old business from designer and owner John McDonald is located in the heart of Midtown at the corner of 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue (1000 Piedmont).

Wrote one person on the Midtown Patch site this week:Twelve has the best flowers, by far no competition. I am not a flower guy, but when I do I go there...”

Twelve garnered 60 percent of the votes, followed by Fuji Floral Design (20 percent) and Vann Jernigan Florist (13 percent).

Monday’s Readers’ Choice poll question will ask: What's the best spot for Mother's Day Brunch?

Well deserved! These guys are the most creative, innovative and spectacular florist around... Just placed an order Thursday for a sick friend and everyone is asking who did the arrangement. It certainly lightened his spirits! Cudos to you!

Oh my gosh. Do not use this florist. And it is a stretch to call them that. I ordered a corsage form my son on Friday for Sumday noon pick up. When we got there the florist was too busy with another event and had not made our corsage. Since PDC was that night and no place else is open the person working agreed to look up on the Internet about making a corsage and put seething together. Remarkably the "florist"/owner still has not called to apologize for messing this up. The delay ant my wife had to miss another function that day. Clearly small orders don't matter to these folks. I should have learned my lesson this summer whme a delivery "accident" screwed up my anniversary delivery. Run from this store. There are way better florists in Atlanta.
