Report: NCR Interested in Moving From Gwinnett to Midtown

The rumored plan could create 1,000 new jobs, according to a news report.

NCR is considering leaving Duluth for a new location inside the perimeter, the AJC is reporting.

Citing “two individuals with direct knowledge of the situation,” the newspaper said NCR is negotiating a deal to build a new complex near Georgia Tech, and create up to 1,000 new jobs.

NCR, which moved to Gwinnett in 2009, is said to be interested in being closer to the engineering and programming talent coming out of Tech, the newspaper reported.

The company said it doesn’t comment on rumors.
