STK– the trendy, cool, energy-filled Midtown steakhouse– celebrated a major milestone last week: its one-year anniversary. While the first year has been a successful one, the restaurant’s operators say they’re looking ahead to the years and milestones to come.
It may be difficult to top the restaurant’s first anniversary celebration themed "Fire and Ice," which included an utterly packed house of more than 500 guests, scantily clad snow bunny dancers gyrating in itty bitty outfits, chest-pumping beats from DJ London Thomas, falling artificial snow and of course, a white Siberian tiger named Delilah.
The signature cocktails, including the Green Intensity (Belvedere Vodka, lime juice, serrano chili, basil), Cucumber Stiletto (Belvedere Vodka, St. Germaine, fresh lime juice, cucumber, mint) and the Strawberry Cobbler (Belvedere RED Vodka, muddled fresh strawberries, graham cracker crusted rim), were an absolute hit.
Yours truly would highly recommend the Cucumber Stiletto, which is fresh and refreshing with just a hint of sweetness to balance it all out.
