Eco-Minded Boutique to Leave West Midtown

The Re-Inspiration Store will relocate later this summer to Highland Avenue.

An eco-minded boutique in West Midtown is relocating to Poncey-Highland.

The  will leave its location on Huff Road late this summer, according to co-owner Brooke Schultz, who started the store with Julie Golden in November 2009.

"We feel like our demographic and loyal customers are in Virginia-Highland and the Inman Park area," Schultz said Wednesday.

The store -- which  and teaches classes -- will move into a 1920s house on Highland Avenue. Currently, the 2,200-square-foot house (near Manuel's Tavern) is the home of the . 

The house on Highland has an upstairs loft, which Schultz said would become the store's art studio. Since its larger than the one in West Midtown, the store will offer more art classes.

"We are going to hire an art coordinator," Schultz said. Workshops include mosaics, paper-mache and other instruction on recycled arts. 

The store also will start offering specials for bicyclists, since it sits near the Freedom Park trail. 

Schultz hopes to be in the new place by Labor Day. "It's going to be so great," she said.
