Top-notch fitness studio to join Atlanta's leading lifestyle community in late 2013

Midtown Patch is excited to share the news that a top-notch fitness studio will be joining the Westside Provisions community in late 2013.  As Atlanta’s new flagship studio, Pure Barre Westside will offer an edgy, out-of-the-box experience for clients.

According to a written release, "Westside Provisions District is making sure visitors stay fit by adding the popular Pure Barre workout studio to its tenant roster. Set to open in late 2013, Pure Barre will introduce its award-winning classes and active, community-driven lifestyle to the District."

Founded in 2001 by professional dancer and choreographer Carrie Dorr, Pure Barre combines the traditional ballet barre with small isometric movements for a total body workout. The brand has since expanded to more than 78 locations nationwide as well as at-home fitness DVDs, workout apparel and equipment.

Exclusive to the Midtown Atlanta location will be a thriving boutique-style storefront, showcasing coveted athletic and luxe lifestyle apparel brands such as Karma, Beyond Yoga, Splits 59 and the must-have Pure Barre label. Tailored fitness specials will also be offered, featuring three-month unlimited packages including “Baby Bounce Back” and “Bride to Be,” as well as “College Spring Break” and “Bring on the Men.”

“Through the effectiveness of the workout, upbeat musical environment and expertly trained staff, Pure Barre will create a community fitness experience that does not currently exist on the westside,” said Tracy Prince of Pure Barre. “Our new location will embody Westside Provisions District’s authentic intown brand with top-notch décor, retail and innovative offerings. We are excited to engage in the District’s events throughout the year and look forward to partnering with other community tenants to establish a diverse variety of fitness opportunities.”

The 1,344-square-foot studio will be located in the 1100 building in suite A07-1 on the south end of the property close to West Egg Cafe. Pure Barre’s Westside studio marks the fifth location in the Atlanta area joining those in Buckhead, Dunwoody, John’s Creek and Druid Hills. The intelligent exercise appeals to an unlimited audience by utilizing the bar to lift the seat, tone the thighs and burn fat through precision and perfection of the technique. To create long, lean muscle without bulk, each strength section of the workout is followed by deep stretching. The Pure Barre workout also requires intense focus, allowing the mental benefits achieved in yoga or meditation.
