, Ponce City Market  — bounded by the BeltLine trail, Glen Iris Drive and Ponce de Leon and North avenues — will restore 1.1 million square feet of the historic Sears, Roebuck & Co. building to create a vibrant urban centerpiece.

When complete, Ponce City Market will combine 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, including a central food hall, 450,000 square feet of Class-A loft office space and approximately 250 residential lofts on a 16-acre site.

It also will include a new pedestrian bridge that will link the interior courtyard and public market directly to BeltLine trails.

It would be great if they would have some public space on the roof with park benches, not just filled with restaurant or amusement park space, but something for simple relaxation and observation.

I'd like to see lots of car services (wash, Pep Boys, DMV, etc.) Instead of waiting, you could shop while your vehicle is serviced. It would be even better if they could work together. So, you could drop off your car, and come back with new tires, a wash, and registration after shopping. This would really give people a reason to spend a lot of time and money at the place.

Some new ideas after learning more about the space. 1) An Uncle Maddio's. Yes, I know we have a lot of pizza places already but I don't think it would be complete without a pizza place. 2) An idea for the bigger stores...H&M. 3) A Panera Bread/ Atlanta Bread/Zoe's Kitchen. Or even a Bruegger's Bagels since I hear they are moving back to Atlanta.

That is absolutely not true. The development will be done in 5-8 years. They plan to move retail space in next year.
