Win a $50 gift certificate and wrap your holidays in 'Tinsel and Twine'

For a really fun and different holiday experience, hit Westside Provisions District's "Tinsel and Twine" this December 8th and 15th.

Update: A winner has been selected, contacted and confirmed. Patch will be posting a follow-up story on Thursday, Dec. 13. Thanks to all for your great comments and we'll see you at Tinsel and Twine this Saturday!

Original story:

The holidays are here and Patch and Westside Provisions District (WSPD) are helping spread the good cheer by giving away to one lucky winner a $50 gift certificate good at any of the outstanding slate of merchants at WSPD.

All you have to do is leave us a comment below about what you're looking forward to (or what you enjoyed most) at this year’s second annual 'Tinsel and Twine' event at WSPD, and we'll enter you into a drawing for the prize good at any shop or restaurant in WSPD.

There’s no need to write a lot. Just a sentence or two will do and we’ll conduct a random drawing from among the comments entered by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

For a really fun and different holiday experience, skip the mall this holiday season and stop by WSPD’s Tinsel and Twine on Dec. 8 and 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tinsel and Twine participant Rachel Baba of Seed Factory says, "We're offering these really fun, totally free "photo booth"-style snapshots with Santa, and I can't wait to watch families and friends ham it up for the camera once that first flash goes off."

And snapshots with Santa are only the beginning. Tinsel and Twine is also hosting boutique retailers from all over the country to augment the already-outstanding slate of merchants at Westside Provisions District (WSPD).

The line-up includes children's clothier Emerald August, doll makers The Cinnamon Bears, rubber stamp artisans The Small Object, ceramic jewelers Olaria Studio, gourmet barbecue sauce maker Cobbie's Sauce and menswear favorite Lyonstate.

WSPD's own Seed Factory will offer a handmade holiday stocking bar, Star Provisions will serve up gingerbread, hot chocolate and an old-fashioned candy counter, and SimplyPut Paper and Gift will be on hand to (literally) giftwrap your holiday purchase in tinsel and twine!

WSPD is located near the intersection of 14th Street and Howell Mill Road and free parking is available in a multi-level parking deck located at 1100 Howell Mill.
