Brightworth Names Don Wilson as Chief Investment Officer

ATLANTA, Georgia – Brightworth, LLC, a fee-only wealth management firm, announced the promotion of Don Wilson to Chief Investment Officer effective January 1, 2014. He has been the Director of Portfolio Management at Brightworth since 2006 and a Partner in the firm since 2008.

Don will be primarily responsible for Brightworth’s investment strategy and execution and will continue to direct the company’s portfolio management team and chair the firm’s Investment Committee. Don said, “I look forward to continuing to help our clients preserve and grow their wealth through Brightworth’s comprehensive investment strategies.”    

Don is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner.  He graduated with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering. Don is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta, has spoken nationally at various investment conferences and industry groups and has been quoted in the financial press including the Wall Street Journal.
