Westside Atlanta Charter School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Grand Opening of Westside Atlanta Charter School will be celebrated by a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony taking place at the school (1903 Drew Drive) on Friday, September 27 at 10:00am.

This exciting event will showcase Westside students and honor several Atlanta Community Officials and Dignitaries, the Atlanta Speech School, Atlanta Housing Authority, various Atlanta Foundations and Chief Executive Officers of Columbia Residential and Brock Built. 

Westside was established by neighbors, individuals and families, and opened its doors to 120 students (K-2) on August 12, 2013.  The overriding desire is that the school serves in equal numbers from different races and socio-economic groups.  I

Westside aspires to create a culture of service and leadership where students and educators grow in curiosity, critical thinking and creativity.  A place of exceptional academic preparation, our goal is to become an integral part of a vibrant community. Westside’s innovative language and literacy focus provides a firm educational foundation, having internalized the core values of imagination, rigor and service.
