Atlantic Station Tree Lighting Celebration Saturday

Atlantic Station will light up with more than 250,000 lights

Come kick off the holiday season at Atlantic Station’s annual tree lighting celebration on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 from noon to 8 p.m.

This family-friendly event will feature musical entertainment from Jordan Grassi, the Georgia Tech Glee Club, former The Voice contestant Clark King and more. 

Parents and kids can enjoy the kids’ activity area featuring the Georgia Aquarium, live reindeer and the Seed N’ Feed Parade. Dr. Fuddle from the children’s book “Dr. Fuddle and the Golden Baton,” will emcee the events of the day which will include “musical moments” each hour. Author Warren Woodruff will be on hand to sign books.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation will sell lighted wands throughout the day so kids can “help” with the tree lighting.

The night will culminate with Santa’s arrival, a Holiday Jubilee performance, the tree lighting with more than 250,000 lights, a  “snow show” and fireworks.
