Fuqua Development is in the pre-construction stage of transforming a large portion of Piedmont Road between Morningside and Cheshire Bridge into a large mixed-use development with retail locations and apartments.
The project is slated to be complete in the Spring of 2014.
So, our Midtown Patch question to all current residents in the area is....
1) Are you happy with the new large mixed-use developments sprouting up?
2) What sort of retail establishments would you like to see at this location?
The developer's website says that, "this mixed-use development includes 44,000 sq ft of retail fronting Piedmont Road and 300 high-end residential units." There are also plans for a, "surface level parking lot providing easy access for the retail customers."
