The APD and cleanup crews have already cleared the scene outside of the 17th St. Starbucks, where a taxi driver ran off the road and into the building.
An employee informed Midtown Patch that no glass or internal damage to Starbucks was suffered from the crash.
Tire skid marks and gashes in the concrete building were the only visual evidence of a crash this morning. A resident who lives nearby said that she heard the loud crash, but didn't know what happened just after midnight.
APD had not released all of the details of the crash as of 8 a.m., though are unconfirmed reports that someone in the car was suffering from seizure like symptoms.
