The Grand Opening of Piedmont Park's Expansion is Thursday 6/20

Mayor Kasim Reed will present Piedmont Commons newly created parkland and entrances to the citizens of Atlanta.

New amenities include three new pedestrian entrances, paths and trail connectors anticipating the future BeltLine and overlooking two footbridges on improved Clear and Orme Creek corridors. For more information www.piedmontpark.org

Please join us for the Grand Opening ceremony of Piedmont Park’s Northwoods Expansion. This much anticipated occasion will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 20th at Piedmont Commons. We are pleased to announce that Mayor Kasim Reed will be attending the opening ceremony and will remark on this, Piedmont Park's latest enhancement and the close of The Phase 1 effort implementing The Master Plan vision.

What:    The Conservancy opens new parkland in Piedmont Park. Newly created parkland now extends to Piedmont and Monroe and gives all surrounding neighborhoods new entrances to Piedmont Park.
