The Week Ahead in Midtown

You can buy wine to benefit the High, take in French films, learn about financial planning, gamble for a good cause and hoist a brew with Fido.

1. Wine auction. This big benefit raises money for the High Museum. Wednesday-Saturday at Atlantic Station at 375 18th St. NW. Free admission.

2. Francophonie festival: Films on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at Alliance Française d'Atlanta, 1197 Peachtree St. N.E. Free.

3. Financial planning. This is the second part of a series. 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Peachtree Branch Library at 1315 Peachtree St. NE. Free.

4. Casino night. Play blackjack and roulette upstairs at Publik at 9 p.m. Wednesday. All proceeds go to St. Baldricks Foundation to fund child cancer research. $20.
