Drink in Design – Mercato Italiano

Come partake of Italy’s convivial culture as you enjoy an Italian mercato (market) and wine tasting in the setting of the exhibition, Barrique: Wine, Design and Social Change.Sample and purchase products like olive oils from Oli+Ve, cheeses from CaliRoad Creamery, pestos and sauces from Alta Cucina, candy from DiAmano Chocolate, and more.  Enjoy traditional Italian music played by strolling mandolin player, Dave Cooper, and practice your Italian with instructors and students from the Italiano Language School, all while tasting Italian wines and learning to mix Italian cocktails. Wines provided by Sherlock’s Wine Merchant and Georgia Crown Distributing.
