Drink in Design with Plywood People

MODA is pleased to welcome Jeff Shinabarger and Plywood People for the June Drink in Design event.  Plywood People’s Billboard Bags project is currently featured in MODA’s Design for Social Impact exhibition. Guests at Drink in Design will learn more about Plywood People’s commitment to community and their mission to make Atlanta known as a center for social innovation.

Jeff Shinabarger is a social entrepreneur and author of More of Less: Choosing a Lifestyle of Excessive Generosity. With a vision to make Atlanta a center for social innovation, he has personally engaged in more than 100 startups aimed at solving problems. Shinabarger’s work has been featured by CNN, USA Weekend, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Huffington Post, Christianity Today, Coca-Cola, Relevant Magazine and Chicago Sun Times. He serves as Creative Advisor to Epoch Missions Gala and the Chick-fil-A Environmental Stewardship Committee. Many gatherings, universities and corporations invite Shinabarger to share his insights with their communities including TedX, Pecha Kucha, Creative Mornings, Catalyst and Q Ideas.
