Grand Opening: "A Great Day In Atlanta: 2003-2013 Before & Beyond" Photography Exhibtion

Evolve! Artists Live, Inc., presents "A Great A Day In Atlanta", a

photography exhibition comprised of visual artists, musicians,

visionaries, prolific figures, and various movers and shakers from

Atlanta. Reminiscent of the photograph “A Great Day In Harlem” taken in

August 1958, “A Great Day In Atlanta” was originally taken on the

steps of the Woodruff Library at Clark Atlanta University on March 30,

2003, by photographer John Crooms, documenting Atlanta’s arts

underground movement as a collective renaissance. This year marks the

10th year anniversary of the historic photograph, and a reshoot was

taken on March 30, 2013. Both photographs along with works by Crooms,

will be unveiled at the exhibition grand opening on Friday, October

4th.  The
exhibition will remain on view until Oct 31st. For more information visit: www.evolveartistslive.com
