Keep Atlanta Beautiful O4W Recycling Event Saturday

Join us on Saturday, March 8, at our monthly Old Fourth Ward  recycling event.

Bring old electronics, #6 styrofoam, paper for shredding or recycling, latex paint, single stream recycling (cardboard, tin/aluminum cans, paper, plastics 1-7), and metals to recycle  from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Alkaline Battery Collection: March is the final month we will be able to accept alkaline batteries at our two recycling locations. We hope to resume this service once we have acquired a new alkaline battery collection sponsor, so please stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, we suggest that you take them to Batteries Plus or some other location to have them recycled at a cost of about $2.00 per pound. We have also been informed that it is safe to dispose of alkaline batteries with regular household trash.

$1 Donation Request
We are committed to providing this valuable resource to our communities. As costs rise, we are asking residents to help us defer some of those costs with a small donation of at least $1 when they drop off their items. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts in the community.
