Lamb Chop Lovingly Remembers Shari Lewis at the Center for Puppetry Arts

As

part of this year’s National Day of Puppetry celebrations, the Center for Puppetry Arts is proud to

present Mallory Lewis, daughter of the late Shari Lewis, in an exclusive live production

of Lamb Chop 2.0: Everything You Wanted

To Know About Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, But Were Afraid to Ask.

On Saturday, April 26, at 3 p.m., the

performance, hosted by world-renowned artist Nicolosi, salutes 70 years of

Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop and marks a special unveiling of a new commemorative

United States Postal Service stamp featuring the beloved puppetry duo, as

painted by Nicolosi.

Nicolosi and Mallory Lewis invite audiences to hang

out with their favorite sweetheart, Lamb Chop! Throughout the enchanting

hour-long performance, the audience will be thrilled by rare, classic

television archival footage, as Lamb Chop and Mallory are interviewed live by

Nicolosi, recounting stories of decades of travel around the world with Shari

Lewis. The audience is encouraged to “grill the Chop” during a Question and

Answer session.

Following the performance, patrons are invited to a

meet-and-greet, where they may savor a private word and take photographs with

Lamb Chop, Mallory Lewis and Nicolosi. Exclusive commemorative Lamb Chop

merchandise will also be available for sale and autographing.
