Paideia's Green Team hosting a screening of "More Than Honey" documentary

Join Paideia's Green Team for an evening of festivity and film. This is a community event open to all. We will present an award-winning film chosen for us by our own Paideia Urban Agriculture Students for your enjoyment!

On Thursday, April 17th, we're screening More than Honey, a documentary by Oscar-nominated director Markus Imhoof which tackles the vexing issue of why bees, worldwide, are facing extinction. With the tenacity of a man out to solve a world-class mystery, he investigates this global phenomenon, from California to Switzerland, China and Australia. Exquisite macro-photography of the bees in flight and in their hives reveals a fascinating, complex world. For more info about this film see http://www.morethanhoneyfilm.com/.

At 6:30pm in the Black Box Theater on Paideia’s campus, we'll serve a complimentary signature cocktail and bites brought to us especially for this event by friends at local Decatur Restaurant ChaiPani.  Pi Urban Agriculture students will join and share some buzz about their work and studies related to bees and pollination. The movie will start at 7:15.
