Westside
Foundry hosts Community Yard Sale

To benefit Atlanta
Habitat for Humanity

Westside Foundry will host the
first Community Yard Sale on Sat. May 17th proceeds to benefit Atltanta
Habitat for Humanity. It takes a village to raise a child and a community to
help those less fortunate.  Neighbors in
the community will rent a space and set up their wares to sell in the front
parking lot of Westside Foundry and Westside Market from 9am-5pm.  The area known as the West Midtown Design
District known for eclectic shopping for the home, restaurants, boutiques and
elegant in town living will prove to be a great SOURCE for the novice or hard core
yard sale shopper on the hunt.  Along
with great yard sale treasures, the festivities will include live music and one
of Atlanta’s most popular food trucks.

Atlanta Habitat
for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to homeownership for working
families. Since 1983, volunteers from corporations, faith-based and civic
organizations have worked in partnership with qualified homebuyers to construct
affordable, green, quality homes, which are purchased through no-interest
mortgages. To date, Atlanta Habitat has built nearly 1,300 homes in the city of
Atlanta and Fulton County. 

 “This is
our first partnership with Atlanta Habitat. I have long admired what they do
and hope to do many things together in the future. This Yard Sale gives us the
opportunity to bring the community together while raising funds for a great
organization.  Both of the stores will
also be donating a % of their sales that day to habitat for Humanity. We are a
community that cares” says Abe Malla, owner Westside Foundry . Westside Foundry
is Atlanta’s premier Lifestyle retailer for fine furniture, rugs, accessories,
wall décor and lighting from around the globe.
