The Home Depot is hosting a free and open to the public DIY workshop on Lighting & Electrical Updates at the Midtown Home Depot on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to help participants save money and energy. Workshop leaders and Natalie Shaw, winner of The Home Depot's recent Lamp's and Lighting Contest on Instructables.com, will teach energy-saving topics, including how tot create low energy-use lamps to match your decor preferences, tips to reduce energy costs with home automation technology and other energy-efficient lighting options and demonstrations of recessed lighting and dimmer switch projects.
