Invest in developing your
business community. The West Midtown Business Association is a volunteer based
non-profit organization. The mission of the organization is to promote West
Midtown as the premier innovative business, cuisine, technology and design
community of Atlanta. To achieve our mission, we need a plan and YOU!
In collaboration with
idealDESIGN,inc through the Commitment, Communication and Participation
process, WMBA will be surveying community stakeholders to create an
organizational development plan. Once the plan is created, presented and
approved, it’s time to implement. The initial idea is for the Board of Directors
to lead this effort with the assistance of idealDESIGN,Inc to implement the key
factors necessary for the foundation of our organization. The goal is to be up
and running in January 2014 with all the above. The estimated expense is
$7000 - $10,000. Once the foundation is established and membership is
activated, operating costs will be sustained by membership investments. Other
initiatives will be accomplished through sponsorships and fundraising
opportunities.
