Worthmore Jewelers "Guiltless Holiday Shopping" Charity Event Benefits Make-A-Wish Georgia

On
Saturday, Nov. 2, Worthmore Jewelers will be hosting a “Guiltless Holiday
Shopping”
event at their Midtown location (Amsterdam Walk, 500-L3 Amsterdam
Ave) to benefit Make-A-Wish Georgia. Worthmore is throwing the event in
conjuncture with the W.I.S.H. (Women Inspiring Strength and Hope) Society, the
women’s philanthropic leadership group of the Make-A-Wish organization.

From
10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
, guests will have the opportunity to visit the fine
jewelry store in Amsterdam Walk and create a wish list for themselves or that
special someone on their holiday list. Make-A-Wish Georgia will receive 10% of all proceeds of any items purchased from that wish list*.


From
7:00 – 10:00 p.m
., exciting festivities, including live music from the local

band, Nervous Habit, food, and cocktails will turn the evening into the

ultimate couple’s night out. In addition, artwork from local artists Fred Budin

and Sergey Cherep will be on display and available for sale, with Make-A-Wish

Georgia receiving 10% of those proceeds as well. To preview some of the artwork

1995, Make-A-Wish® Georgia has been granting the wishes of local children with
life-threatening medical conditions. 
Having recently granted its 6,000th wish in Georgia, the organization is
one of the top tier chapters within the national Make-A-Wish Network.  Though the chapter aims to grant 430 wishes
this fiscal year, there remain hundreds of children in the local community
