Want to Be a Real-Life Super Hero? Adopt or Foster a Pet from Fulton County Animal Services!

Become a hero by adopting a shelter pet today! Cats half-price! Seniors get senior cats for $20!

Half-off All Cats!  Seniors Get Senior Cats for only $20!

Every summer, Atlanta-area animal shelters see a large increase in the numbers of dogs and cats coming in.  Those of us who see these animals wonder why so many loving, sweet, playful, silly, cute and personable dogs and cats are sitting in kennels instead of in homes where they can love and be loved.

I know from personal experience what a joy it is to adopt shelter pets.  I’ve adopted many, including Chloe, a bull-terrier/corgi mix who was only three-months-old when I got her.  She is now 13, and not a day has gone by that hasn’t bowed to me every morning and evening, as if to say thank you.

If you adopt a pet from an animal shelter, YOU have saved a life and YOU are their hero!  They know that and will never let you forget it.  Want to be a real-life hero?  Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) has special promotions going on now to make it easier.  All cats are half-price this month, and anyone who is a senior may adopt a senior cat (ages 7 and up) for only $20!

Here are two adorable animals who need homes right now:

Brandy loves you already and she hasn’t even met you yet!  Sweet Brandy is a gorgeous one-year-old girl who is just as sweet as she is pretty.  This easy-going kitty gets along with other cats and seems to be dog tolerant.  She has been patiently waiting at the shelter for her hero for almost two months. Are you the one?

Amaretto is happy to be anything you want, except homeless!  This adorable, three-year-old girl is uber loving and would make an awesome playmate for another dog her size!  She likes to play ball and is sometimes called ‘Piggy,” because she has such a cute, huggable, piggy body, and she even snorts!   Could she be your piggy?

Please foster or adopt either of these cuties by calling Kerry at 404-613-9157 or email her at: kmoyershorton@fultonanimalservices.com.
