Grab Your Dog and Attend These Festivals, AND Meet Fulton County Animal Services Pets of the Week.

Ready to have some fun this weekend and meet some Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) dogs?  Then attend one of the dog-friendly events that FCAS will be participating in!

On Saturday, October 19, from noon to 6:00 p.m., FCAS will be at Pet-A-Palooza, a festive, fun and free day of music, food, vendors, seminars and more for dogs and dog lovers.  It will be held at the Piedmont Park Dog Park.  Then on Sunday, October 20, FCAS will head over to Boxerstock 2013, an all-day music festival, offering fun for the whole family, including dogs.

Also, don’t forget today and every Friday is ‘Free Dog Friday’ at FCAS.  Any dog that has been at the shelter for over three weeks is absolutely FREE!!!  The free adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, dewormer, and more!  Regular adoption screening criteria still applies to ensure a good home.

FCAS Pets of the Week:  Lacy and Kerry

One pet who is FREE on Free Dog Friday is Lacy the Lovebug.  As her picture above shows, Lacy’s specialties are snuggling, cuddling and being adorable.  This one-year-old girl has a beautiful black coat and soulful, sweet eyes.  She is good natured and gets along well with other dogs too.  The staff at FCAS just adores Lacy and you will too!

Kerry is another staff favorite.  She is a two-year-old cat who likes to sneak into the adoption office and demand attention.  She is so loving and affectionate that it is amazing she hasn’t been adopted yet!  She is also pretty and already spayed.
