ASO Faces Budget Issues

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is facing uncertainty going into its fall season as budget cuts and labor issues continue to affect the orchestra. Last year, the orchestra brought in less revenue than it spent, and now it is attempting to reach a compromise with its musicians, who could face pay cuts.

Check out a statement released Sunday from the ASO here.

Matisyahu Plays House Show in Atlanta

One lucky Grant Park high school teacher got an awesome surprise when she won a national competition for a free show from Matisyahu. The reggae artist played a concert in her living room for her family and friends, likely his smallest show of the season.

Here’s a photo album from Creative Loafing of Matisyahu’s performance.
