The Georgia Bulldogs Are Officially Clicking On All Cylinders

UGA's huge win over Georgia Tech gives the Dawgs the momentum they need to face No. 2 Alabama.

It’s official, this week will be the biggest game in 30 years for the Georgia Bulldogs.

With the Bulldogs’ lopsided 42-10 victory over Georgia Tech this past weekend, the guys in red and black now have a date with No. 2 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 1.

This will be the second consecutive year the Dawgs will play in the SEC championship. The last time Georgia won the SEC title was back in 2005 when UGA defeated LSU.

Alabama on the other hand is going to be ready for whatever Georgia has to offer, especially considering the fact that they just came off a 49-0 rout of SEC rival Auburn in the Iron Bowl. That was just the spark the Crimson Tide needed going into the big showdown with Georgia.

There’s no doubt that the SEC title game will be an all-out brawl. I think Georgia has a slight advantage because the game will be played in the Georgia Dome. I just hope that the fans do their job of rooting on the Bulldogs Saturday afternoon.

I think in the back of both teams’ heads will be idea of being so close to national championship. The winner of the SEC title game will move on to face Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game.

Needless to say, as the week progresses and the hype builds up for the game, I can expect both teams to bring their A-game to the Georgia Dome on Saturday.

Look out for my in depth analysis and picks for the big game later in the week.
