Atlantans at the Olympics in London

Karyn Greer and the team from WXIA-TV are not the only Midtown Atlanta folks attending the London Olympic Games. A team from Around The Rings, the Midtown/Buckhead-based Olympic news magazine, is attending their sixth summer Games, and Midtown's public relations freelancer and Olympic blogger Nicholas Wolaver is posting from London.
Wolaver attended the Olympic Opening Ceremony and sat beside the parents of Olympic Champion Kimberly Rhode at her Olympic shooting competition on Sunday. Photos and details from the event are now available on the Olympic blog named Olympic Rings And Other Things, which Wolaver launched in 2008 while on assignment at the Beijing Olympics. London marks his eighth Olympiad since working as a housing manager in the Atlanta Olympic Village in 1996.
