Women's Gymnastics = Olympic Gold In London
Team USA earned Olympic gold in women's gymnastics team competition in London. Midtown's Nicholas Wolaver captured photos of the athletes in the field of play and on the medal stand.
Tuesday in London, Midtown's Nicholas Wolaver attended the Olympic women's gymnastics team final in the Northwich Arena. Team USA brought home the gold, with Russia, Romania and China on their heels throughout the competition.
While on site at the Olympic venue, Wolaver spotted famed gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi, Olympic Champion Shawn Johnson and former Atlanta Olympic Village staff member (an Atlantan with Georgia Tech ties) Richard Tyler.
