1 Killed in Friday Night Westside Accident
Two-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of Northside Drive and Marietta Street.
According to Atlanta police, a two-vehicle accident Friday evening on Atlanta’s westside resulted in one man’s death and four others injured.
APD Sgt. Greg Lyon said the collision at the intersection of Northside Drive and Marietta Street involved a flatbed tow truck and a sedan. A front seat passenger in the car died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the sedan and three juveniles in the car were injured and taken to a hospital where their condition was not immediately known.

The driver of the tow truck was not injured and the accident remains under investigation according to Lyon.
