APD releases video connected to deadly Midtown shooting

Police asking for public's assistance identifying persons who detectives believe may have information related to Saturday's homicide in a Spring Street parking lot.

The Atlanta Police Department has released a video connected with this past weekend’s deadly shooting in Midtown.

Atlanta Police Homicide Detectives are asking for assistance from the public in identifying the group of people seen in the attached video. Detectives believe that the people in the video may have information related to the homicide that occurred during the early Saturday morning hours at 688 Spring Street.

Police are investigating the shooting death of Peachtree City’s Morrie Brooks, 24, who was shot as he walked to his car in a Spring St. parking lot behind the Varsity restaurant at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 6.

Investigators believe an argument among partygoers that started inside the QUAD nightclub led to the shooting.

The four suspects, three men and a woman, left the scene in a Black Ford Crown Victoria.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Homicide Detectives at 404-546-4235 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.

"The four suspects, three men and a woman, left the scene in a Black Ford Crown Victoria" That looks like a Ford Taurus to me and not black, but charcoal colored.

It does appear to be more charcoal than black in the video
