APD Warning After Robberies Near Tech

Method is the same in two of the robberies.

Atlanta Police have issued a warning to the general public following three armed robberies near the Georgia Tech campus.

The first occurred Friday, WSB-TV reported.

In two of the hold-ups, the victims were approached by two men — one asking to use their mobile phones and the other subsequently committing the robbery, the news station reported.

They were not hurt.

The suspects were last seen running toward 10th and State streets.
